Royal Delft Blue

On the last evening of my stay in the Netherlands, a local Dutch friend of ours took us to visit the Royal Delft Pottery Museum where the guide would tell us the history of this beautiful porceline and show us how they make it..

Keukenhof Tulip Garden
|
|
Holland is famous for their tulips.. I didn't get a chance to visit the tulip garden in my last visit because the flowers are no longer blooming in August (last year's trip trip to Holland). So this time around, I made it a point to see the tulip garden.. We were quite lucky too cause the tulip season would've been over if we came a bit later..
They say that when you're pregnant your feet would get swollen, so it's wise to wear big shoes 
These flowers are simply beautiful.. I wish we could grow them at home..
We met a lady called Mercedes, and she took this picture of the three of us.
This stall sells tulip bulbs so you could grow it at home.. but even if I bought some home to Malaysia I know that they wouldn't flower in our climate..
It would be so lovely if Norman was here with me walking in this garden.. I miss him!!
The striking colors of these tulips represents the company I work for, care to guess?

Another trip to the Netherlands..
|
|
I was already 23 weeks pregnant when the plane took off to take me to the Netherlands. Norman couldn't come cause his boss wouldn't let him take time off during the "audit" season.. 
Thankfully my sister, Nora, had to go there too for her work. So she was the one helping me with my luggage and things.. Thanks sis 
When we arrived it was the last day celebration for Queen's Day..
Her hotel was in The Hague and mine was in Rijswijk (just like last year), so we couldn't spend the weekdays together. Unfortunately her assignment there was only one week, where as I was there for two weeks. So we spent the Saturday before she left together walking around The Hague shopping area..
This weekend is the memorial day celebration, which explains why there are flags everywhere. This is a picture of me, Aliza and Meliza.
After a tiring shopping session, a waffle from the street cart tastes absolutely yummy!!
This is a sight just outside Den Haag Centraal station.. so many bikes here..
We took a tram to Schevenigen beach.. it was so windy there..

Our office had a Batik Stress Buster Session at Krafs Komplex, Kuala Lumpur..
First time for me.. it turns out to be a lot of fun
