Atiqah's wedding & Nana's birthday

 Congratulations to Atiqah & Azra Rizal
Today Norman & I planned to wear purple to attend Atiqah's wedding in Seremban. Once we got there we were kinda shocked that the wedding color theme was actually purple too  
When we got there we met her parents and ate together amongst the other guys. I noticed that I only saw ex-CWRUs, maybe the other ATU2 will come later. When the groom arrived, it was pouring so bad. Some of the guests had too run to the tent only to find that they were soaking wet no matter how fast the moved. It's so ironic that the week before Seremban was nice & dry, but it had to rain on this very day  Nonetheless, the grrom arrived safely and the ceremony proceeds as normal. After taking a couple of snaps, Norman and I left. Today Norman is taking me to his house in Melaka for the first time.
We arrived at around 3.30pm, his parents were home to greet us. His mum made roti jala for us. The house was so welcoming. Rasa tenang saja 
Next we went to Norman's cousin's daughter's 3rd birthday party 
They invited all the neighbours, it was a lively party. We ate again, there was so many food.
At around 6 o'clock, we went back to Norman's house and he took me sight-seeing around his neighbourhood, to all the places he talked about while we were apart. 
I was going to drive back home with his sister, who was studying in Cheras, but since it was getting late Norman decided to drive us to KL  After sending Norain to her apartment, we drove back home to Kelana Jaya, where I dropped him off at Taman Bahagia LRT station. Norman went back to Norain's house for the night.

Tea with Baby, dinner wih Chung..

Norman came to KL from Melaka this morning. At noon, I picked him up at Taman Bahagia's LRT station. Then we went to SS2's Nasi Kandar Pelita for lunch.
Today we planned to meet one of Norman's friend who Norman met years ago while working part-ime after SPM. We call her Baby but her real name is actually Borhan. (shhh....she's actually a he.   )
It was the first time I met someone like her, I mean him, and I was in terested to see what type of character this one is. It turns out that despite his weird choice of appearance, he's really a nice intelligent person. He had just graduated from UM in LAW and is currently doing chamberings to get his professional license. I'm not sure how long he plans to keep up this style of appearance, and I dared not ask but according to Norman he can switch back as a guy just as quick as he does otherwise. 
After meeting Baby at Amcorp's Starbucks, we thought of catching a movie but the timing was off. Instead we went to Subang Parade. We planned to meet Chung at 7pm at the Chicken Rice Shop, so that means we have about an hour to kill  After window shopping for a while we decided to have a tea break at Rotiboy.
Finally we met up with Chung (who came alone without his girlfriend) We started talking, and I completely forgot that I had a camera with me.
I came back home just in time to see Felix doing his thing in the AF3 consert

Since I've been stuck in my office all day, you can guess that these pictures are not from today.
Nonetheless I can't remember exactly when they're from (most likely sometime in November 2003), so I got an idea  to have them in today's entry. Norman's coming over tomorrow and we'll be going out to dinner to meet up with Chung (who wants to introduce us to his new girlfriend  )
Well..it'll be an early dinner at least, don't wanna miss our weekly dose of AF3 now, do we?

Congratulations Naji & Faizal on your engagement.
Today Norman and I went to Naji's house in Bandar Baru Bangi for her engagement to her boyfriend Faizal. These are Norman's Dublin friends, some of them have already reutrned and started working in Malaysia, but Naji and Faizal came back especially for the ceremony.
Naji's family bought a new bed cause her sister got married the week before, so while waiting a couple of guests sat on one side of the bed singing and swaying together. Then suddenly 5 minutes before the guy's side arrived, the bed crashed. Somehow they managed to put the bed back together with the help of her new brother in-law and some other guests. After that nobody dared to sit on the bed. Nasib baik the hantarans we not placed on the bed 
We met some more of Norman's Dublin friends, but my camera batteries died on me and I only managed to get 3 shots of the ceremony.  Fortunately Norman had his camera with him too, so all the other pictures are in Norman's camera.

Sholeha's Wedding.

The wedding is actually held on the 4th of June but because I was attending my cousin's wedding that day in Seremban, I couldn't make it to Sholeha's wedding. Her wedding is held in Kedah, if I'm not mistaken. These pictures are courtesy froom Wan Fakaruddin (our classmate who attended the wedding)
Nonetheless, I just want to wish Congratulations to both Sholeha and her husband.

Nur Elmy & Shahril's Wedding

Another family wedding, this time my cousin married the man of her dreams today at their house in Seremban 2. The akad nikah ceremony began exactly at 10 am, while the kenduri kahwin officially began at around 1.30 pm. It was a joyous occasion.. next in line is my cousin Nurul Ain (expected next month).
Congratulations to you both!!

Aqi & Anis' Wedding

|
Aqi and Anis actually got married on the 21st of May but we couldn't make it to Anis' kenduri in Kedah. So as it is Norman's classmates' wedding and our x-Beserian, so we felt excited to sharetheir happy day. We went to Kuala Kangsar to Aqi's house that day. friends from as far as Perlis and all the way from Johor came to gather.
We went in my car, (Razak, Mawar, Farah, Norman & I).. It was so much fun cause soe of us haven't met for years.. the day before we also met Norman's classmate (Abe) in KLCC.. it felt so nice to be around old friends..
We left bright and early and finished the day off at around 10.. then it's time for work tomorrow!

Double Celebration: Norman's ACCA Convocation & Monina's Wedding

My sweetheart's ACCA Convocation ceremony held in PWTC Kuala Lumpur. It was the first time I met with norman's grandma.. I was so nervous that morning...   
That evening we went to Monina & Azizan's Wedding.. unfortunately my camera's batteries died out and the worst part is I didn't even get a chance to snap a picture with the bride and groom before the batteries completely poofed  I'll just have to look at monina's pictures to relive the moment.. Congratulations to you both anyway :flower:
